A Holistic Therapy Approach

A HOLISTIC THERAPY

Welcome, Healing Soul!

(A Mutual Healing Journey Towards Hope!)

Having mental struggles is just a disconnection from our original creation, our values, our bodies, souls, and minds. Psychotherapy is a process of healing to reconnect to these aspects.

I have been working with families, couples, and individuals with ages 12 and up to overcome anxiety, depression, grief & loss, relationships, anger management, and self-esteem for about five years.

What I do is help you explore your strengths and resources with compassion and empathy so that you work towards a meaningful and purposeful life.

I work with an integrative approach using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, solutions-focused and future-oriented techniques. I specialize in

What Should You Expect From a Therapy Process With Me?

Psychotherapy is a journey of healing and growth. Similar to addressing physical health concerns, the process begins with an assessment phase during the first one or two sessions. In this stage, we’ll explore your challenges, thought patterns, and how they affect your daily life.

Next, we’ll dive deeper into understanding your experiences and developing self-awareness using therapeutic techniques such as deep breathing, grounding exercises, and tracking your reactions to external factors. Remember, much of the healing takes place in the moments between sessions as you apply what you've learned.

As we move into the phase of sustaining progress, therapy may involve more in-depth work, such as examining childhood experiences and their influence on your current lifestyle. During this time, sessions may feel more intensive but also deeply transformative. Consistent practice of the tools and techniques we explore can accelerate your progress.

Typically, it takes about 6-8 sessions to achieve noticeable results. The initial three sessions are especially critical for building an understanding of how therapy works and laying the foundation for meaningful change

An Analysis of the Emergence of Mental Illness

Mental illness arises from a misalignment between the mind, body, and soul. When there is a disparity between reality and one's ideals, individuals begin to question their situation and their condition. This critical juncture marks the onset of mental illness or disorder. Initially, individuals often seek to identify the cause of their distress, frequently blaming themselves. This self-blame fills their minds with negative thoughts, leading to negative emotions. These emotions then manifest in physical symptoms such as increased heart rate, sweating, and stomach disturbances.

In response to these distressing emotions and sensations, individuals tend to adopt one of three behavioral responses: fight, flight, or freeze. The choice of response is influenced by the degree of misalignment between the mind and the soul. While the mind generates various thoughts, the soul provides a sense of meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. The body's reaction, whether positive or negative, depends on the balance between the mind and the soul which is the most important element of all. Without soul, the individual struggles to find meaning and reason behind the difficult life experiences.

Healing starts with ACCEPTANCE!

Healing Power of the Breath

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Accepting negative situations and taking action can be difficult. ACT helps us move forward and make progress. By realizing thoughts are not facts, we separate ourselves from negative thinking and self-judgement, ACT teaches us that we need to have self-awareness in order to accept any situation.

More about ACT

In today’s fast-pace life style, finding moments to calm down and breathe regularly can be challenging. Incorporating deep breathing exercises into psychotherapy has proven immensely beneficial for my heal seekers in managing their challenging thoughts and emotions. Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) for Relationships

We are the souls with bodies.

With Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we learn how to pay attention to the emotions of our loved ones, and use effective communication patterns to better understand them. Using EFT in psychotherapy sessions, I help couples and families regulate their emotions by engaging with them, identifying them, and exploring the background of the emotions.

Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP)

Although it varies from person to person, and some are not even aware of it, we all have a spiritual side. Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) recognizes this reality of human beings and incorporates spiritual aspects into the treatment with the consent of the healing soul.
